Otter established the Workforce Development Task
Force in January 2017 to encourage increased engagement among
Idaho business and industry, the legislature, education and economic
development organizations in decision-making and priority setting for workforce
training. Task members represent employers in
health care, aerospace, food processing, natural resources, advanced
manufacturing, energy and construction. Members also include legislators and
