Primary Purpose
This position represents an opportunity for growth of our clinical and translational research opportunities. St. Luke's Health Systems is a willing financial partner and is contributing 50% of the salary and benefits of this position. The position will facilitate research opportunities with St. Luke's, in particular in the area of pediatrics. This position will facilitate grant applications, research, and publications. This is a two-year position.

Key Responsibilities
Provide initiation and support of research activities at St. Luke’s to include, but not limited to, the following:
•    Conduct literature reviews and summaries
•    Collaborate with St. Luke’s providers to identify areas of research
•    Assist with data analysis, collection, and dissemination as directed by Principal Investigators
•    Regular meetings with St. Luke’s providers, supervisors and other stakeholders to develop and implement research projects
•    Support Principal Investigators with development of project study design and protocols and write reports and peer-reviewed publications, grant application materials, and other materials necessary to further the goals of the research group

Minimum Qualifications
•    Must have earned a PhD from an accredited institution
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    Excellent critical thinking skills
•    Excellent organization skills
•    Advanced data analysis skills
•    Independent worker

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in research; statistics; health professions degree.
