Primary Purpose
The anticipated start date for the successful applicant will be August 2019. To teach and advise undergraduate and graduate students, conduct research, contribute to department and university service, including outreach and recruiting.

Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in History

Preferred Qualifications
Research specialization in early American, with an emphasis in African American or Native American History
Teaching record in U.S. History
Record of scholarly publication
Record of internal or external grant application and funding
