Primary Purpose
To assume teaching, research, and service responsibilities in the entry-level doctorate of physical therapy program.

Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will teach DPT students in area(s) of expertise and interest. He or she will also be expected to pursue a focused program of research and scholarship, including seeking extramural funding and advising DPT students in their program progression. Strong collegial communication skills are essential. All faculty members are also expected to take an active role in department and university service and other professional development activities.

Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate in physical therapy or an advanced academic doctorate, teaching experience in a classroom or workshop setting, three (3) years of clinical experience in the area of interest.

Preferred Qualifications
At least three (3) years teaching in a physical therapy program, at least five (5) years of direct patient care clinical experience, evidence of dissemination of research through presentations or publications, able to articulate an educational philosophy in line with the program mission, experience or specialist in manual therapy, orthopedics, or pediatrics.
