Primary Purpose
Teach courses in Stage Direction and other related theatre courses.   Direct at least one ISU mainstage production per year. 

Key Responsibilities
Teach Beginning and Advanced Stage Direction courses
Teach additional courses within the Theatre program
Direct at least one ISU mainstage theatre production per year
Departmental, university service and recruiting

Minimum Qualifications
Terminal degree in Directing. 

Preferred Qualifications
Dynamic teacher with a history of professional and educational directing experience/expertise.
Strong interpersonal and collegial skills.   
Secondary areas of expertise could include script analysis, playwriting, mask work, puppetry, non-realistic theatre, Theatre History/Dramatic literature, or other related training approaches.
