The Idaho Department of Health & Welfare, Division of Family and Community Services is recruiting for a Child Welfare Supervisor in our West Hub for the Children and Family Services Program. The individual selected for this position will be responsible for leadership and supervision for a combined team of professional child welfare social workers with adoption caseloads.
This position will be located in the Boise field office.

Supervises a team of professional staff
Develops and implements unit work plans
Ensures quality of service delivery activities
Determines case priorities, recommends training needs, and evaluates staff performance
Prepares monthly statistics to determine trends and services needs
Provides input into program policies, goals, and procedures
Assigns caseloads, reviews quality of casework, and ensures regional goals are achieved
Provides and coordinates emergency and crisis intervention services
Develops support and service partnerships and expanded community options for children and families in cooperation with community groups
Participates on special projects and ad hoc committees
Serves as a member of the region's management team
Ensures quality of reports and assessments
Provides consultation, technical assistance and training to the community
