Panhandle Health District has a rare opening
for a full-time Nurse Practitioner
who is looking for an opportunity
to serve the health care needs of individuals and families.

The Nurse Practitioner is an autonomous provider that teams up with two other nurse practitioners and is supported by well-trained and experienced support staff.


  • Provides patient care and educational instruction in support of Title X, Title V and Women's Health Check sub grants.
  • Basic primary care and women's health care outside of grants.
  • Works primarily out of the Hayden office with some work performed in the neighboring clinics.

Minimum Qualification:

Current certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse issued by the Idaho Board of Nursing (includes Clinical Nurse Specialist and Nurse Practitioner). This requires graduation from a nationally accredited graduate program in nursing with a clinical focus, and passing a qualifying examination recognized by the Idaho Board of Nursing. Required at the time of appointment to a permanent State classified position.

The preferred candidate will work independently and possess sound clinical judgment, problem solving abilities and have excellent clinical and communication skills. Experience with women's health issues is desirable.
