Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) is hiring an IT Systems Integration Analyst to support our northern Idaho staff.     

Become a part of our progressive team as an IT Systems Integration Analyst. This is a challenging career opportunity for a highly trained, seasoned, and motivated professional. The IT Systems Integration Analyst will provide technical support for information technology infrastructure.  This includes incident management and resolution, change management, planning, and implementation.  Advise on technical solutions and implementations for projects including technical design and architecture recommendations and working with vendors to ensure compute and connectivity standards are met.

The position will be based at the district office in Lewiston or Coeur d'Alene, whichever city the selected candidate resides.   • Provide Technical input and recommendations related to enterprise, or local solutions, which align with ITD and Department strategic objectives, guidelines, processes, and/or policies ;
  • Provide technical consulting on compute, storage, connectivity, and availability for approved ITD projects;
  • Provide technical consulting and recommendations to assigned districts.
  • Act as the technology lead regarding regional/district technology infrastructure planning activities, working closely with regional/district contacts whose business requirements include any technology infrastructure requirements (ITS, Traffic Signaling, Weigh in Motion, etc…) and HQ IT to coordinate secure reliable enterprise solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and install network equipment for ITD and help support other agencies using ITD's network;
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and install network devices and physical and virtual computer servers;
  • Document and maintain technical documentation on multiple networking systems using Visio;
  • Implement approved change requests in the ITD infrastructure;
  • Provide hands and eyes support for other technology systems such as VOIP, video conferencing, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining integrated (multi-platform) systems in a multi-platform environment.
  • Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and resolving system problems.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of technician level work experiencein each of the following functions: Network, Server, Desktop, and Phone Support.
  • Two or more years of technician level experience with Cisco network technology
  • Experience/Education: You will receive a score based on your answers
  • You must receive a minimum rating of 72 to pass this examination
  • Exam results will be available online when the review process is complete
  • All answers to the questions on the checklist must be supported in the work history, resume, and/or education portion of your application
