The Idaho Industrial Commission is seeking an Application Software Developer (IT Systems Integration Analyst) to join the Information Systems Department in Boise Idaho.

This position requires experience developing software using internet related technologies

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops, supports, implements, and maintains integrated systems solutions typically involving more than one client and using multiple technologies, platforms, and interfaces using ASP.NET, VB.NET, .NET Framework, PowerShell, T-SQL Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, and Microsoft Visual Studio. 
  • Solves routine programming problems and determines appropriate solutions
  • Develops line of business reports using, but not limited to, Crystal Reports and Microsoft Excel
  • Identifies technology needs, developing strategic and tactical solutions, and implementing solutions using the optimal technology, platform, and interfaces
  • Identifies system requirements for potential uses of information technologies through working with enterprise management, other technology-oriented staff, and end-user clients
  • Researches available tools and technology to determine alternate technology solutions
  • Assists with monitoring LAN and/or WAN performance as it pertains to application systems functions
  • Notifies the Network Analyst of any application systems problems or concerns.  Assist with resolution as needed
  • Assists with database administration
  • Assists with user training and eliciting internal customer application systems and reporting needs
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining integrated (multi-platform) systems in a multiple platform environment
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving application systems software problems
  • Experience working with clients to develop and implement information technology solutions for user computing needs in a business environment

SPECIALTY AREA:

  • Software programming experience using internet related technologies such as ASP.NET, VB.NET, .NET Framework, T-SQL, Crystal Reports, PowerShell, JavaScript, Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, Microsoft Visual Studio, etc.
