The Idaho State Tax Commission is recruiting for an IT Systems Integration Analyst, Senior in Boise

The ideal candidate will have leadership and technical experience with Microsoft servers and Microsoft SharePoint.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide leadership in the design, development, implementation, support, and operation of complex integrated system solutions.
  • Collaborate in research, implementation, and support of multiple computing platforms, operating systems, and processing environments.
  • Establish work priorities, manage and assign resources to projects, assess and monitor project team progress.
  • Lead the technical administration and configuration of our enterprise infrastructure.
  • Work with the following enterprise technologies:
    • Microsoft Servers (IIS, File, Print, DB, Application)
    • SharePoint System Administration
    • Microsoft Failover Clustering
    • Active Directory
    • COTS applications (GenTax, J&B TMS 1200)
    • Various storage arrays
    • Microsoft Hyper-V management
  • Work with enterprise management, other IT staff and end-user clients to define system requirements for potential uses of information technologies.
  • Collaborate on the design and installation of new or enhanced server systems.
  • Oversee and perform capacity analysis and planning.
  • Participate in or drive multiple concurrent projects.
  • May conduct cost/benefit and feasibility analyses to provide recommendations on alternative approaches to the enterprise IT needs.
  • May develop and conduct training.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Professional experience:
    • Researching, designing and installing a new or enhanced complex integrated system, which includes multiple technologies and platforms and the resolution of conflicting goals.
    • Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and resolving complex multi-architecture and applications software problems.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience:
    • Using storage arrays and systems management in an enterprise environment, and administering Microsoft SharePoint server.
  • Knowledge or experience in IT Operations on one or more of the following subjects: 
    • IT Project Management
    • Change Management
    • Configuration Management
    • Server Management
    • Data Center Management.
