Location(s): Boise

The Idaho Children's Trust Fund (ICTF) has a part-time (15 hours per week), temporary opening for an Administrative Assistant 2 in Boise.  The incumbent will operate under the direction of the Executive Director, working to ensure successful and efficient operation of the ICTF's administrative and communication activities and procedures. 

The incumbent should have strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team in a small organizational setting.  Familiarity with the Idaho Children's Trust Fund and relevant state policies is desired.

  • Functions with considerable independence and exercises discretion in applying policies and procedures
  • Coordinates administrative activities which requires frequent contact with executives, the public, other agencies, and government officials
  • Utilizes effective public relations and liaison skills
  • Leads effort to improve ICTF's social media presence
  • Provides logistical support for meetings of the ICTF Board of Directors and other events
  • Assists Director and with development and details of annual training institute, insuring timelines are met and tasks assigned to other staff are completed
  • Purchases and orders supplies and other inventory needed
  • Responsible for financial transactions such as reconciling credit card purchases and other bookkeeping records
  • Performs complex secretarial, office administration, and public relations assignments; works to streamline internal processes

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of office support functions, including word processing, filing, composing a variety of business documents, reception, and researching, compiling, and summarizing data for reports
  • Experience interpreting, applying and explaining complex information such as regulations, policies or services; independently solving problems/performing liaison activities in a work setting; coordinating activities requiring complex arrangements.
