Idaho Transportation Department has an immediate opening for a full time IT Systems Integration Analyst, Senior in the Enterprise Technology Services at the headquarters office in Boise. This is a challenging career opportunity for a highly trained, seasoned, and motivated professional.

The IT Systems Integration Analyst, Sr will work in all phases of the ITD Enterprise Application, Web, DMZ, and IIS environments.Help resolve the most complex issues of the enterprise.Provide oversight and technical guidance to other IT staff or individuals working on the team.Project responsibility for complex and multi-faceted integrated system projects involving cross-functional participation, multiple technologies and platforms, and resolution of conflicting goals of multiple client users.Research, analyze, consult and help define the department’s standards technical applications.

  • Develop, support, implement, and maintain complex integrated systems solutions typically involving more than one client and using multiple technologies, platforms, and interfaces;
  • Define technology needs, develop strategic and tactical solutions, and implement solutions using the optimal technology, platform and interfaces;
  • Define system requirements for potential uses of information technologies through working with enterprise management, other technology-oriented staff, and end-user clients;
  • Research available tools and technology to determine alternate technology solutions;
  • Research, implement, and support multiple computing platforms, operating systems, processing environments, and telecommunications technologies;
  • Design, develop, test, and implement new technologies;
  • Conduct cost/benefit or feasibility analysis.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Professional experience researching, designing and installing a new or enhanced complex integrated system, which included multiple technologies and platforms and the resolution of conflicting goals;
  • Professional experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and resolving complex multi-architecture and applications software problems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • LAN/WAN/Wireless concepts and principles;
  • Advanced teamwork and project experience;
  • Experience performing software development and technical tasks, such as investigation, analysis, design, coding, debugging, testing, and implementation of application environments;
  • Familiar with HTML/XHTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, ASP, Java Suite;
  • Experience with Active Directory, LANDesk, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Visual Studio, and SharePoint;
  • Experience with Web and Microsoft IIS environments;
  • Experience in server and firewall configurations and operation;
  • Familiar with SQL Database;
  • Knowledge of the software lifecycle including requirements, design, development, implementation, and maintenance.
