Exam: Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist DHW (PRS certificate)
Questions 1 addresses the minimum qualifications for this position. Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications (Question 1) will pass and receive a score of 70. The information you provide must clearly reflect that you meet all of the minimum qualifications listed below. All of the minimum qualifications must be met in order to pass this exam.

1. This position requires:

A) Certification as a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist in accordance with USPRA requirements OR ability to obtain certification within 18 months from date of hire.

B) Good knowledge of human services principles and practices including:

• Behavioral management methods
• Social and family systems
• Cognitive behavioral education
• Case management methods
• Computer literacy for data entry, electronic mail, composing reports and letters, and storing and retrieving documents.
This requires a certification as a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist in accordance with USPRA requirements (IDAPA 16.03.10.131) AND a Bachelor's degree from a nationally-accredited university in Primary Education, Special Education, Adult Education, Counseling, Human Services, Early Childhood Development, Family Science, Psychology, or Applied Behavioral Analysis. Applicants who have a major in one of the above areas, but have a Bachelor’s degree in another field also meet this requirement.
