To qualify, this experience must have been a primary job responsibility, occurring on an ongoing basis and not incidental in nature.
Note: This type of experience is generally gained by work as a customer service representative, interviewer, eligibility examiner, insurance claims adjuster, hearing officer, social service or employment and training services provider, drug/alcohol counselor, law enforcement officer, counselor, and medical/EMT.
A) I have less than one year of work experience as described above and no college coursework in this area.
B) I have at least one year of work experience as described above;
I have at least six months of work experience as described AND six semester hours of college coursework in counseling, psychology, human relations, social work, or other class where skill in dealing with emotional, difficult, or confrontational people was clearly emphasized OR I have a college Baccalaureate degree.
C) I have at least two years of work experience as described above.
D) I have at least three years of work experience as described above.
