Idaho employers, educational institutions, state and federal agencies and community resource providers are all invited to participate in the Treasure Valley Community Resource and Career Fair, scheduled for Nov. 5-6 at the Idaho Center in Nampa.
The event will take place on Thursday and Friday between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. Set-up for the event will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 4. Booth space is being provided by the Idaho Center for free; however additional costs may be incurred for extra convention services such as electrical service or Internet connections.
The event is being billed as a one stop resource for information on viable job and volunteer opportunities, educational information and the many community resources available to help people in transition, such as food, transportation and housing.
Job search, resume writing, interviewing and online networking workshops and seminars will be held throughout the day along with other topics ranging from volunteerism to what kind of support resources are available in the Treasure Valley.
The event is co-sponsored by the Idaho Center, the Idaho Department of Labor, AARP and the Idaho Commission on Aging.
