Information on everything from federal and state labor laws to expansion strategies will be available to south central Idaho employers during the Employer Resource Expo, scheduled for Oct. 8 at the College of Southern Idaho.
The Workforce Development Alliance is sponsoring the free event that runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Rick Allen Conference Room at the Herrett Center on campus.
Experts will be on hand throughout the day to answer employer questions on the federal Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, worker’s compensation insurance, unemployment insurance taxes, employee training, business financing opportunities, employee retention strategies and much more.
