Colleges, technical schools and service organizations will be advising young people and adults about their training options during an Education Fair Feb. 27 in Caldwell.
The event runs from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday at the Idaho Department of Labor’s Canyon County office, 4514 Thomas Jefferson St.
“Many workers are looking for programs to improve their skills so they can compete for even better jobs when the recovery begins,” said fair organizer and Labor Consultant Jose Deleon. “This event brings recruiters from the schools, institutions and training organizations together with workers looking for ways to improve their future employment prospects.”
Educational institutions ranging from the College of Idaho and the University of Phoenix to technical schools like Selland College and Razzle Dazzle College of Hair Design to service groups like AmeriCorps and Serve Idaho will all be participating in the fair.
