Veterans employment representatives from the Idaho Department of Labor will be on hand Saturday along with community and educational resource representatives during the Welcome Home event for military veterans and their families in Boise.
The Boise Veterans Administration Medical Center is sponsoring the celebration between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on the Parade Ground in front of the medical center at 500 W. Fort St.
Labor veterans representatives will be providing information about the job search and career preparation services available from the department to military veterans throughout the day, which features a barbeque, live music, children’s activities, Boise State University athletes, prizes and much more.
Officials from community organizations, educational institutions and other groups will be available to discuss specific programs with veterans.
