The Governor’s Workforce Development Task
Force will review recommendations, priorities and a draft of its final report Monday,
June 26 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. MT.
The meeting will be held in the East Conference
Room located on the first floor of the J.R. Williams Building, 700 W. State St.
in Boise. A listen-only conference line is available at (720) 279-0026,
its last scheduled meeting, the Task Force will review its final report and
discuss the steps necessary for disseminating the group’s recommendations to
the governor and Idaho’s Workforce Development Council.

Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter established the
Workforce Development Task Force in January 2017 to encourage increased
engagement among Idaho business and industry, the legislature, education and
economic development organizations in decision-making and priority setting for
workforce training. Task members represent employers in health care, aerospace,
food processing, natural resources, advanced manufacturing, energy and
construction. Members also include legislators and educators.
