Public comment is sought on updates to the 2016-2019 Idaho Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) state plan through a series of meetings each Tuesday for the next five weeks. The updates address state workforce performance goals and sector strategies.
All meetings, including the one on Feb. 13, will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Idaho Department of Labor central office in Boise, 317 W. Main St., 3rd floor west conference room.

The state plan is open for public comment until March 13. Comments can be submitted by email until then at email@example.com
The plan, developed jointly with Idaho’s state workforce partners, outlines the state’s four-year strategic plan for its workforce development system to meet Idaho’s educational and training needs required for a skilled workforce now and in the future.

- Division of Vocation Rehabilitation
- Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired

- Idaho Workforce Development Council
Stakeholder collaboration, review and public comment are key requirements of this planning process.
