The Department of Labor’s monthly
hiring event continues to attract a strong turnout of employers – more than 25
on Wednesday, Aug. 9 - looking for applicants to fill hundreds of jobs. The
event will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at Idaho Labor’s Kootenai County
office, 600 N. Thornton St., in Post Falls.
Good paying jobs in areas such as
construction and skilled trades are among the positions available. Many employers
are offering increased pay, signing bonuses and benefits to attract workers.
Job seekers are not required to
register and are encouraged to bring their resumes and be prepared to meet
directly with recruiters. Computers are available in the Department of Labor
office to apply online if needed.
