More than 100 veteran-friendly employers from around Idaho are scheduled to attend four Hire-A-Veteran events this week. Events are scheduled to take place in Post Falls, Idaho Falls, Boise and Twin Falls.
- The Kootenai County event is scheduled from 10 a.m. – noon Wednesday, Nov. 8 at the Post Falls local Labor office, 600 N. Thornton St. as part of the regular monthly hiring event.
- The Idaho Falls event is set for 4 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8 at the Idaho Falls local Labor office, 1515 E. Lincoln Road.
- The Treasure Valley event is scheduled from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9 at Boise State University in the Jordan Ballroom of the Student Union Building.
- The Magic Valley event is set for 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9 at the Twin Falls local Labor office, 420 Falls Ave.
These employers are looking to hire people with a variety of skills and are hoping to fill a diverse set of job openings including positions in Information technology, manufacturing, engineering, social work, case management, accounting, data analysis, health care, the food industry, help desk and more. Veterans should bring copies of their resumes, dress to meet potential employers and have all the information needed to fill out job applications. Spouses are also welcome to attend.
