Research Study

April 2016

The Idaho Department of Labor strives to connect job seekers and employers, and help all Idahoans with career and life transitions.

We are currently undertaking an ambitious research project to better understand what information, resources and services Idahoans need to make successful education and career decisions. In April 2016, a research team working on our behalf will conduct discussions with middle and high school students, parents of middle and high school students, adult job seekers, educators and career counselors in six markets across Idaho.

This project is not a sales call; just a way for us to learn from Idahoans. Your opinions are important to us, and we will compensate all participants for their time and opinions.

We invite you to support this research by:

  1. Volunteering to share your thoughts during our visit to your town.
  2. Identifying potential participants in your community.

If you would like to get involved, please contact our scheduler, Maura Schwartz, at or (541) 325-1064.

We are grateful for your willingness to share your time, assistance and perspective. Our research team will be respectful of both your time and privacy. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this effort, please contact:
