National Career Development Month

November is the time to celebrate National Career Development Month, Week (Nov. 12 – 16) and Day (Nov. 14). Each year this provides an opportunity to increase public awareness about the importance of lifelong career development and making informed education and career decisions. Idaho Career Information System at the Idaho Department of Labor and our many partners are committed to supporting this mission.

 

2012 Idaho Career Development Month

Idaho commemorated this event November 7 when Gov. C.L. "Butch" Otter signed a proclamation declaring November 2012 Career Development Month in Idaho. After the signing three individuals and their programs were awarded the Idaho Leadership in Career Development Award.
